About The Thathangathay Foundation

The Thathangathay Foundation is a not for profit organisation committed to improving the lives of the indigenous people of the Thamarrurr Region through education, improved health and leadership.

In partnership with the Essendon Football Club, Red Dust Role Models, business and community, the Foundation delivers a program that aims to promote healthy living, increase school attendance, provide employment opportunities and foster a culture of self worth in the indigenous youth of the Wadeye Community in the Northern Territory. In mentoring the next generation of leaders in the Wadeye Community the program gives participants the best possible opportunity to realise their full potential, creating a sense of and accountability that comes with making informed choices.
